Built on Family. Driven by Relationships. Growing for What Comes Next.
Long before Electrical Works supported customers across multiple states, completed major electrical infrastructure projects, and built a team capable of serving communities nationwide, the story began much more simply.
It began with a young electrician choosing the trades, a family connection, and eventually, one pickup truck and a handful of customers.
For Electrical Works, growth has never simply been about getting bigger. It has been about building relationships, supporting customers, creating opportunities for its team, and holding onto the values that shaped the business from the beginning.
Where the Story Began
Joe Ciceri’s path into the electrical industry started after high school. College wasn’t the route he wanted to take. Faced with a choice between pursuing the trades or joining the military, he chose the trades and electrical work. His father happened to know an electrician who was hiring.
That electrician was Sabrina Ciceri’s father.
Joe began learning the trade, and soon after, he met Sabrina. What started as a job would ultimately become the beginning of both a family and a much bigger professional journey.
Joe spent the following years building his electrical experience and learning from Sabrina’s father, whose traditional approach instilled a strong work ethic.
But over time, Joe began to see opportunities to do things differently.
By 2008, as the economy faced significant challenges, Joe decided to go out on his own and build something new. At first, Electrical Works was Joe, a pickup truck, and a handful of customers.
He took on whatever electrical work he could, seven days a week, while providing 24-hour emergency service. As Sabrina remembers, Joe wasn’t only the electrician. He was also the helper, estimator, receptionist, and whatever else the business needed.
They ran much of the business from their dining room table.
Those beginnings established something that would continue to shape Electrical Works as the company grew: a willingness to do what was needed to support the customer.
Growing Alongside Our Customers
Electrical Works didn’t become the business it is today overnight. Growth came through relationships.
Being available for an everyday electrical repair created an opportunity to earn a customer’s trust. Successfully supporting one property could lead to another. Smaller projects developed into larger infrastructure work, and local customer relationships helped Electrical Works grow across Florida.
As the business developed, so did its capabilities and geographic reach. What began with Joe supporting customers locally would eventually establish the foundations for Electrical Works to expand far beyond Florida.
And as the next generation became increasingly involved in the business, that growth entered a new chapter.
Over time, Electrical Works grew alongside the customers it served.
Taking Electrical Works Nationwide
For Tristan Ciceri, Vice President of Electrical Works, the business is part of a much longer family connection to the electrical trade.
A fourth-generation electrician and third-generation Master Electrician, Tristan grew up around the industry. His experience with the communities Electrical Works serves began particularly early.
As Tristan recalls:
“I’ve been servicing RV and mobile home parks since I was, I don’t know, 12 years old, riding with my grandfather to do calls.”
That early exposure developed into a career and a deep understanding of the electrical infrastructure challenges facing RV parks and MH (manufactured home) communities.
Over the past five years in particular, Tristan’s passion for the industry, commitment to expanding his Master Electrician licensing across multiple states, and relationships throughout the RV and MH community sector have played a significant role in taking Electrical Works nationwide.
Working with the knowledge, experience, and support of his father, Tristan spearheaded the company’s expansion into new states and helped develop relationships that allowed Electrical Works to support customers across a much wider geographic area.
It is a natural progression of the way Electrical Works has always grown. Relationships built through individual projects have developed into opportunities to support customers across portfolios, regions, and ultimately, the country.
Today, Electrical Works supports RV parks and MH communities across the country, from everyday maintenance and emergency response to electrical assessments, compliance, major infrastructure upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
The scale may have changed considerably from the early days, but the underlying approach has not.
Customers still come first.
Bringing Field Experience to the National Electrical Code
Tristan’s experience in the RV and outdoor hospitality industry has also created an opportunity to bring that perspective to the National Electrical Code development process.
In 2026, following a nomination from OHI, Tristan was officially appointed to National Electrical Code Code-Making Panel 7 (NEC-P07), representing RV parks, campgrounds, and glamping businesses across the outdoor hospitality industry.
For Tristan, the appointment brings generations of family experience together with the practical knowledge gained from working directly in the field.
As he explains:
“I’m a fourth-generation electrician, third-generation Master Electrician. I’ve been around the NEC forever.”
His role on NEC-P07 provides an opportunity to bring the perspective of someone who understands both the electrical trade and the realities faced by campground and RV park owners and operators into the conversations helping shape electrical standards for the industry.
It also represents another stage in the Electrical Works story: experience developed across generations now contributing to the wider industry the family has served for so many years.
Growing a Team Without Losing the Culture
For Joe and Sabrina, one of the things they are most proud of is that Electrical Works has been able to grow while retaining the values on which it was built.
That applies not only to how customers are treated, but also to the people who work at Electrical Works.
The electrical industry can be demanding and unpredictable. Supporting RV parks and MH communities also means responding when customers are dealing with outages, severe weather, emergency situations, and other unexpected challenges.
That requires flexibility across the organization. It also requires a team willing to support one another.
Treating employees like family and working through challenges together remains an important part of the Electrical Works culture.
As the team has expanded, preserving those values and passing them on to newer team members has become increasingly important.
Creating Opportunities for People to Grow
That culture is also helping Electrical Works attract people who want to play a role in the company’s next chapter.
For Heidi Doyle, Director of Business Development, the people and culture were a significant part of what attracted her to Electrical Works:
“There is a lot of pride in what everyone does, but there’s also a real willingness to let people grow, try new things, and look for new opportunities.”
Heidi also describes wanting to work somewhere she could contribute, feel comfortable sharing ideas, and be part of what comes next.
That opportunity to contribute to the company’s development is echoed across the wider team.
Tiffany Grant, Financial Controller at Electrical Works, describes the business as family-oriented and highlights the opportunity she has had to contribute to its growth by implementing new things as the company continues to expand.
Growth at Electrical Works therefore isn’t only about entering new markets or taking on larger projects. It is also about creating opportunities for the people within the business to grow with it.
The Next Chapter
Electrical Works has come a long way from Joe’s pickup truck and the dining room table.
The company now has a growing team, customers across the country, and an expanding network of locations supporting that growth.
From its roots in Central Florida, Electrical Works has expanded its presence with a Southwest Florida location, while the opening of its new Apache Junction, Arizona location provides a local base for customers in Arizona and strengthens the company’s growing presence across the western United States.
But the next chapter isn’t about leaving the original Electrical Works behind.
It is about building on it.
Across generations, the relationships, responsiveness, work ethic, and family-oriented culture that helped establish the business continue to influence how Electrical Works approaches its customers, its team, and its future.
There are more people now.
The projects are larger.
The geographic reach is considerably wider.
But the principles behind the business remain remarkably familiar.
Electrical Works continues to grow, and we’re proud to be doing it alongside our customers and our team.
Whether you need support with an immediate electrical need or are planning for the future of your RV park or MH community, our team is here to help.
